Shoe Designing and Modeling is one year certificate course where the students are equiped with the techniques like Designing, Cutting, Stiching and Modeling are being taught. All the higher management, designers, and quality controllers of Pakistan Footwear Industry comprises a considerable number of the graduates of this Institute.

On Successful completion of the course, the trainee should be able to:

• Make the insole, sock lining components.
• Make the mean form of lasts.
• Make the upper & lining components of footwear.
• Grading the footwear components.
• Cutting and stitching of leather and other shoe  making materials.
• Design t he different styles required  by the market.
• Check the model patterns on last.
• Make the making patterns for production.
• Make the tin metal template for cutting department.
• Calculate the costing of material used in footwear.
• Designing and Grading on the CAD / CAM system.
