• Measuring instruments and their applications.
• Proper selection and use of hand tools.
• Construction of fabrication machinery and their working procedure.
• Cutting, drilling, bending, welding, fitting and other fabrication operations.
• Define and identify materials and type of sections for specific job.
• Sharpening and regrinding of scribers, punches, drills etc. 
• Erection/ fixing in place of finished items at site.
