This curriculum is designed keeping in view the local requirement & job market demand in order to produce the skillful & capable workforce having familiarization with practical skill along with necessarily required theoretical knowledge of spray painting material, tools & equipment and their use for furniture finishing by more focusing on the following:

• Natural & Man made Material.
• Health & Safety Procedures necessary for spray paints.
• Different Finishing Processes for wood.
• Different Finishing Equipment use for wood finishing.
• Practical work familiarization with essential equipment.

On successful completion of this course, the trainee should be able to:

• Define the of tree classification, kind of wood, classification of hard & soft wood.
• Describe the man made material & their uses like particleboard, MDF, veneer, plywood, hardboard etc.
• Explain the of safety procedures in connection with the use of paint / NC material.
• Explain the equipment used for furniture finishing.
• Describe the finishes & finishing process for application.
